Your are only minutes from the Owls Head Transportation Museum, the Henry Knox Mansion, several wineries or Pemaquid Lighthouse. Just a few minutes away your groups can enjoy the working waterfronts in Rockport or Camden or they can take a trip on the ferry to beautiful Vinalhaven and spend the day biking one of Maine’s great offshore treasures. Your group will love a stop at the prison store in Thomaston where they can purchase items that are handmade by prisoners who are learning skills that will help them in the future.

Take a day and explore the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, visit the Maine Maritime museum in Bath, Bowdoin Art Museum and enjoy dinner at The Taste of Maine. Your can spend the day in Maine’s Capital Augusta, visit the Maine State Museum, the Capital, the Blaine house (home of the Governor) and Fort Western where General Benedict Arnold planned the invasion of Quebec. If you want to enjoy Maine’s abundant natural treasures, the Heart of the Midcoast is where you want to be. Rockland is a four season destination offering skiing from January until March at the Snowbowl where your guests have great views of the ocean while skiing. In February the National Toboggans Championships are held locally your groups can even enter a team. There are local opportunities for snowshoeing, cross country skiing and remember just because it is winter does not mean that the Maine attractions you visit in the summer are not there for you to enjoy year round. Many of our museums, wineries and local theaters are open and waiting for you. In the spring and fall you can enjoy our communities the way we do, without the crowds that comes with visiting in the summer.
